AFTAT is a highly customized Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software that provides users with real-time access to quality data generated by the Air Force Petroleum Office s (AFPET) network of area laboratories for samples tested that are submitted in support of aircraft flight operations, maintenance processes, space launch operations, and aircraft mishap safety investigation boards. Currently, operation of AFTAT uses an XFD interface that requires an XFD file download that is not available to all users. Conversion of AFTAT to a full HTML 5 interface will allow any user to operate the AFTAT system from any internet browser without the need to download any file on the user machine
HTML Conversion Effort
a. Provide planning and project management for the effort.
b. Upgrade existing technology platform (12.2) to the latest STARLIMS technology platform release (currently 12.7).
c. Convert the existing AFTAT STARLIMS application user interface from XFD technology to STARLIMS Hypertext and Markup Language (HTML) version 5. This includes the conversion of all client scripts/forms/modules so the system retains all requested functionality in a HTML 5 format that will work with any internet browser and will not require any downloadable files on the user machine. Familiarity with the AFTAT program is a requirement for this effort so the vendor can accurately assess the time necessary to perform upgrades and bid appropriately.
