AirNow Heating and Cooling, a Southern Home Services Company, is looking for a dynamic- Alabama Electrical Contractor Licensed Electrician to join a thriving business that believes in work life balance and cares about YOU!

About this role:

We are looking for a Journeyman Electrician to manage and execute electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs with expertise. In this role, you will lead electrical projects, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations, and deliver high-quality workmanship. You will diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues, supervise apprentices, and communicate effectively with clients to address their needs. Strong technical skills, leadership capabilities, and a thorough understanding of electrical systems are essential for success in this position.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Perform residential service work by troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
• Install, repair, and maintain various electrical systems and components.
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining issues and offering clear options for repair or replacement.
• Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Manage and supervise apprentices and junior electricians, providing guidance and training.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors as needed to complete projects efficiently.
• Stay updated with advancements in electrical technology and industry best practices.

• Alabama Electrical Contractor License
• A valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience
• 5+ years of electrical experience, preferably with a focus on residential projects.
• A positive attitude and unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels.
• Adaptability, flexibility, and creativity as a collaborative team player.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities.

Physical Requirements:

The physical requirements of this job include tasks such as lifting weights (e.g., pounds regularly and occasionally), climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work. The role also involves working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces, and exposure to extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions such as rain or snow.
