Role Overview

Step into a dynamic position as an Ammonia Refrigeration Specialist, driving the maintenance and repair within our warehouse. Operating under broad directives, your efforts are autonomous yet vital.

Daily Challenges Include:

• Exercising mastery in the operation, repair, and calibration of the refrigeration systems. Notice performance variations and apply your keen insight.
• Use safe LOTO protocols for refrigerant system repairs and component exchanges, aligning with our PSM blueprint.
• Execute refrigerant evacuations for valve services.
• Apply OSHA standards to routine equipment maintenance.
• Utilize various instruments—voltmeters, pyrometers, and more—to test equipment efficacy. Conduct HVAC calibrations with precision.

What We Seek

• Completion of high school or GED.
• A solid 5 years in Industrial Refrigeration and more than 2 years specifically in industrial settings.
• RETA Operator 1 certificate is favorable but comparable training is also acknowledged.
• Experience with control systems like ALTA or Allen Bradley is essential.
• HAZMAT training is mandatory, alongside other designated courses.

• Adaptability for various shifts, with potential on-call duties.

Physical Expectations

• Adaptability to extreme temperatures, including –20°F indoors.
• Able to work at elevations exceeding 35 feet and navigable on ladders.
• Engage frequently in movement-based tasks and lift weights of 50 lbs regularly.
• Possess precise vision capabilities and refrain from using contacts with ammonia.
