Job Description
Harrington Pepsi Cola of Bozeman has a full-time position available for an Area Business Manager (ABM). The ABM is responsible for all facets of selling and delivery within a defined territory with an established customer base. The ABM’s primary responsibility is to regularly call on customers to actively sell and develop the company’s beverage brand portfolio. The ABM has supervisory responsibility to their delivery teams, drivers, driver helpers and merchandisers that serve their territory. The ABM works daily to provide direction, supervision and training to aid in the selling, delivering and merchandising of beverage products including soft drinks, sports drinks, teas, energy drinks, coffee drinks, juices, waters and various other beverage products within the company’s beverage portfolio. This position allows the individual to coordinate sales activities within their territory and provides flexibility.
The ABM must be able to work well under pressure, meeting multiple time deadlines, be organized, timely, and responsive to customer and company requests. At all times they are requested to demonstrate a positive and cooperative behavior with customers, co-workers and supervisors.
Wage: Starting wage is $60 - $65K per year depending on experience, as well as participation in various beverage brand sales incentives. Estimate annual earnings of $60,000 - $67,000 based on the individual’s ability to effectively and aggressively sell the company’s brand portfolio. Company provided vehicle for transportation to and from work and to travel throughout the sales territory.
Basic Qualifications:
· Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid drivers license.
· Ability to effectively manage people in a fast-paced sales environment
· Ability to effectively work with customers to actively sell and promote beverage portfolio.
· Excellent written and verbal skills and basic math skills required.
· Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check as well as a drug and alcohol test.
· Previous field selling experience in food and beverage as well as experience in personnel supervision a plus.
