Job Title: Assembler : Anoka, MN : $20 to $23 per hour

Job Description

Manufacture heating and cooling units and other products, focusing mainly on doors for the units by attaching hinges and other components. Utilize various hand and power tools to assemble and attach accessories, work on the production line, package units, and assist with building and making boxes. Must be comfortable working in all areas, lifting up to 50lbs, and standing throughout the shift.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• General production and mechanical assembly knowledge.
• Capability to perform general labor tasks.
• Packaging experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No previous manufacturing experience required, but a desire to get into manufacturing is essential.
• 3+ months of assembly experience is a plus.
• Construction or hand and power tool experience is also a plus.
• Submit to a background check (no drug test).
• Comfortable standing for the entire shift.

Work Environment

This position is in the Wallmount Department within a very large manufacturing environment. It is a high-speed environment where you will be moving around frequently and helping out in multiple areas. The facility is non-temperature controlled and tobacco-free. Second shift hours are from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime requiring employees to work as late as 1:00 am when needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.07 - $21.07/hr.
