We are seeking a Defense Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of insurance
defense experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload from pre-suit through arbitrationtrial, including depositions, discovery, trial pleadings, and court appearances.
- Handle trial and arbitration matters with confidence and tenacity.
- Familiarity with Florida and Federal rules of civil procedure, e-filing, and court deadlines.
- Employ creative defense strategies to advocate for our clients.
- Engage directly with clients, offering strategic advice on business matters.
- Deliver seminars to clients as needed.
- Review and evaluate medical records in litigation matters.
- Maintain an organized, detail-oriented approach while handling a high volume of cases.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of insurance defense experience.
- Strong knowledge of Florida Bar rules and Federal rules of civil procedure.
- Admission to the Florida Bar (Required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Westlaw, andor Lexis.
