Job Description

Cleveland State University Engaged Learning Collaborates with others in the development and execution of marketing plans that support all varsity sports at Cleveland State University (CSU) with goals of generating revenue, increasing attendance, retaining season ticket base, and building new ticket sales. Performs game management duties related to marketing, promotions, and ticket operations. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferably in sports management, marketing, communications, business or related fields. One (1) year of experience in marketing, advertising, and/or sales in intercollegiate sports, professional sports, or higher education. Experience includes any graduate assistant, internship, or similar roles. Preferred Qualifications One (1) year of experience in a Division I athletics marketing area. Experience with graphic design software, i.e., Photoshop, InDesign and content creation. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with all NCAA and CSU rules and regulations. Effective written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and decision-making abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills and have a “Customer Focus” attitude and delivery. Ability to effectively engage with team members when issues arise to ensure appropriate communication and develop effective resolution plans. Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and tackle emergencies and difficult situations. Ability to be flexible regarding daily work schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
