The Law Offices of Jeffrey Edelman P.C., a respected boutique law firm specializing in real estate and finance, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Attorney with a strong background in private lending transactions to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities :
Represent private lenders in a variety of real estate secured transactions
Draft and negotiate loan documents including promissory notes, mortgages/deeds of trust, assignments, and guarantees
Review title reports, coordinate closings, and manage escrow instructions
Advise clients on compliance, due diligence, and risk mitigation
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful closings
Qualifications :
J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law
3+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on private lending
Strong understanding of real estate law and secured lending practices
Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions
