Automotive Porter

Nissan of Duncanville is looking to acquire a qualified Porter to accommodate the needs of car buyers and visitors in our Sales and Service Departments. The Porter is responsible for relocating, parking, cleaning, and maintaining vehicles' appearance and condition as requested by management.

Job functions include but not limited to:

• Maintains the quality of vehicle inventory and performance through cleaning the exterior and interior of vehicles. The Porter maintains all vehicle fluids as necessary and replaces batteries when necessary.
• Performs vehicle repair inspections and monitors the inventory of vehicles. The Porter supplies key tags for vehicles when necessary.
• Drives vehicles to and from parking lot and service lane and stalls, as required. The Porter examines components, equipment, and vehicle cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Provides a tidy and secure location for the parking lot.

Employee Prerequisites:

• Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles; Capability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Great attitude and flexible schedule- Saturdays are REQUIRED
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Ability to understand and comprehend simple, maintenance instructions.
