Title: Java AWS Engineer

Duration: Long term

Location: Philadelphia /Malvern PA(Hybrid)

(ONLY W2)

Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in Java application development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, CloudFormation, and others.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and other Java frameworks.
• Experience in building microservices and working with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient in writing SQL queries and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and AWS infrastructure automation.
• Experience with cloud security best practices on AWS.
• Proficient in using version control systems , preferably Git.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
• Experience with serverless computing using AWS Lambda or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
