Do you love the smell of freshly baked cookies and the sound of waffle cones hitting the cooling rack? Blithe Creamery is on the hunt for a reliable, detail-loving Baker/Kitchen Assistant to join our tiny but mighty team at our Boerne storefront kitchen .

What You’ll Do:

This role is all about supporting our small-batch ice cream menu with handmade goodness. You’ll be in charge of:

• Baking our signature gluten-free cookies —used for ice cream sandwiches and inclusions
• Making waffle cones in-house on our waffle cone iron
• Preparing sauces and swirls like caramel, hot fudge, fruit compotes, marshmallow fluff, etc.
• Mixing up add-ins like cookie doughs, crumbles, and brittle
• Following recipes with consistency and keeping your station clean and organized
• Communicating with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to keep production flowing

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of baking experience preferred, especially with cookies or pastry work
• Comfortable using a scale and following recipes to the gram (we don’t eyeball!)
• Able to work independently and stay organized in a small kitchen space
• Excited to be part of a gluten-free environment (familiarity with gluten-free baking a plus, but not required)
• Positive attitude, solid work ethic, and appreciation for teamwork
