SPLIT SHIFT 6:15-9:30 am.-2:00-6:00pm Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision:
- Monitoring children's activities to ensure safety and a positive atmosphere.
- Activity Planning & Implementation:
- Organizing and leading educational and recreational activities like arts and crafts, sports, or games.
- Behavior Management:
- Implementing strategies to address student behavior and maintain order.
- Communication:
- Interacting with parents, addressing concerns, and providing updates on their child's day.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Completing daily reports, maintaining attendance records, and assisting with program logistics.
Essential Skills:
- Experience with Children: Previous experience working with school-aged children in a group setting is often required.
- Activity Planning & Implementation: The ability to create and lead engaging activities for children of various ages.
- Behavior Management: Strong skills in managing challenging behaviors and promoting positive interactions.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults.
- Organization & Time Management: Effectively managing time, materials, and tasks related to the program.
