One of our clients is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Bilingual Teacher in the Philadelphia, PA area.

CLIENT'S HOURLY RATE & AVAILABLE HOURS
* Starting at $30/hr depending on Contractor's qualifications, availability, and skills.
* Monday-Friday (7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

* Develop schedules and enforce daily routines.
* Maintain a safe and stimulating environment in terms of child development.
* Provide age appropriate supervision and guidance.
* Create and execute lesson plans on a weekly basis.
* Maintain open communication with the students' parents/guardians.
* Follow the lesson plan(s) left by the teacher for whom you are substituting in accordance with districts philosophy, goals and objectives.
* Follow lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students
* Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment
* Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student
* Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground and in the cafeteria
* Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson plan

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree
* Minimum of 1 year teaching experience
* Teacher certification
* Fluency in Spanish
* ESL Certification (preferred)
* PA Substitute Teaching Certification or willing to go through emergency certification/building sub permit process
* Ability to complete and satisfactorily pass State Criminal Record Check, State Child Abuse, Department of Education FBI.
