Blockchain Engineer
We are seeking to hire our first Blockchain Engineer.This Engineer will be responsible for building our compliance system. Working closely with a platform engineer, you will create transfer validators for ERC20-C tokens ensuring transactions occur in accordance with a given token’s compliance framework.
In addition to this, working closely with legal they will construct contract templates for different classes of assets (commodities, securities etc). This engineer will be enabling the transformation of capital into a higher fidelity digital format, on any blockchain.
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining transfer validators for compliant digital assets.
- Using ERC20-C to develop tokens with native compliance.
- Working closely with a platform / backend engineer to create a solution for maintaining state between off-chain and on-chain compliance data.
- Staying up to date with industry best practices for writing smart contracts.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Solidity experience
- Contributed to the development of a smart contract used by an application at scale.
- Experience with hardhat or other smart contract development environments.
- Experience writing comprehensive tests for smart contracts
- Experience working with auditors to ensure the security of smart contracts
- Experience writing developer facing documentation for easy integration with third parties.
- Understanding of how to ensure contracts are gas optimised for production.
- Experience managing signers/multisigs for contract administration.
- Experience working with client and backend engineers to integrate a smart contract into a wider application.
- Experience with merkel proofs.
A Plus:
- Familiarity with (ERC20-C / ERC721-C) is a huge plus
- Worked at an early stage startup.
- Contributed to a widely used smart contract standard or application.
- Good reputation in the Ethereum developer community.
- Familiarity with Solana development.
