Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Charter Captain to operate and manage 70ft vessels for charter tours and private events at Marina del Rey, CA. The ideal candidate is a responsible and knowledgeable professional with a passion for the water, exceptional customer service skills, and a strong understanding of maritime safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and navigate a 70ft vessel in compliance with maritime laws and company policies
- Ensure the safety of all passengers, crew, and the vessel at all times
- Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure vessel readiness
- Monitor weather conditions and make navigational adjustments as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and a memorable experience for guests
- Oversee docking, anchoring, and mooring procedures
- Maintain accurate logs, including trip records, fuel consumption, and maintenance reports
- Train and manage crew members, ensuring compliance with safety procedures
- Respond effectively to emergencies and enforce all safety protocols
Requirements:
- Valid U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License
- Strong knowledge of navigational equipment, weather patterns, and maritime regulations
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)

- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
