Job Title: Building & Grounds Maintenance Staff

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

The Building & Grounds Maintenance staff is responsible for ensuring that the exterior of the complex is well-maintained, contributing to a safe and efficient facility environment.

Essential Job Functions

• Remove snow and ice.
• Pick up and dispose of bird mortality using farm equipment.
• Perform general landscaping, including roads and areas between barns.
• Move and grade rock.
• Operate irrigation systems.
• Conduct minor vehicle maintenance (check oil, change tires, etc.).
• Maintain and fill bio-security stations (power washers).
• Assist with bale staging.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform all job duties, including reaching, bending, twisting, and lifting above the head.
• Familiarity with farm equipment and maintenance tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills.

Work Environment

The role involves working in various climate conditions and requires physical activities such as lifting, reaching, bending, and twisting. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
