ASM Global has an excellent and immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician position with ASM Global Knoxville. This position will maintain in good working condition all facility equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, lighting and climate control systems, roofing systems, telecommunications, and maintenance cleaning equipment. Essential duties include repairing and maintaining all facility systems and equipment, inspecting systems to detect malfunctions, diagnosing causes of breakdowns, implementing corrective actions, anticipating potential malfunctions, operating auxiliary supply systems during breakdowns, coordinating shutdown and start-ups of utilities, assisting with electrical, plumbing, painting, renovations, and general maintenance, following procedures for work orders and maintenance systems, adhering to OSHA, NFPA and other safety codes, operating HVAC chiller, ICE Chiller, and Cooling Towers, assisting with event setup and takedown, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications include strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, familiarity with operational procedures and facility capabilities, and 1+ year hands-on maintenance experience. Physical demands include standing for long hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in a fast-paced, physical environment. The working environment includes high noise levels and exposure to weather conditions. The position requires flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
