Vorst Custom Cabinets is a well-established, locally owned custom cabinetry shop seeking to add a skilled team member to our Finishing Department . We are looking for an experienced painter/finisher with a strong background in woodworking, wood preparation, and professional finishing techniques.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in cabinet or furniture painting/finishing

• Strong knowledge of wood preparation, priming, staining, and sealing

• Experience using spray guns and other finishing equipment

• The ability to match colors, apply smooth and consistent finishes, and maintain quality standards

Responsibilities include:

• Sanding, prepping, and conditioning wood surfaces for painting and staining

• Applying primer, paints, stains, and topcoats using spray equipment and hand-finishing methods

• Ensuring consistent color and finish quality across all components

• Maintaining a clean, organized finishing area and properly caring for spray/finishing equipment

A strong commitment to quality craftsmanship , attention to detail , and professional finishing standards is essential.
