Key ResponsibilitiesPersonal CareAssist clients with daily personal hygiene routines, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.Household ManagementPerform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and healthy living environment.Companionship Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging them in conversation and recreational activities to reduce feelings of loneliness.Medication Management: Assist clients in managing their medications by ensuring they take them as prescribed and understand their schedules.Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair and vice versa, as well as walking or exercising if needed.Monitoring Health: Observe and report changes in the clients physical or mental health to family members or healthcare professionals.Transport Assistance: Provide transportation or accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or other activities outside the home.Emergency ResponseIn case of emergencies, provide first aid or CPR and notify emergency services if necessary.Qualifications and SkillsExperience Previous experience in caregiving, nursing, or healthcare is preferred.Communication Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients and their families.Physical Stamina Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, such as lifting and assisting clients with mobility.Compassion and Patience A caring attitude and the ability to empathize with clients' needs and challenges.
