\n \n\n \nThe role you'll contribute :
\n \n\n \nThe Medical Assistant provides appropriate care to patients within the scope of Florida Statues Title XXXII: Regulations of Professionals and Occupations. Chapter 458.Medical Assistants assist in various aspects of medical practice until the direct supervisor and responsibility of a physician.Responsibilities may include: patient care management, administrative and clinical procedures. .In all practice endeavors the medical Assistant will adhere to ethical and professional practice.

\n \n\n \nReviews appointment bookings in advance and ensure patients receive appointment reminders.
\n \nVerify and validate insurance prior to appointment date.
\n \nCompletes check in process, securing copays and balance amounts.
\n \nVerifies consent forms are completed and up to date.
\n \nMaintains timely flow of patients and keep patients up to date of any delays.
\n \nResponds to and returns in-coming telephone calls in a timely manner.
\n \n\n \nQualifications
\n \nThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
\n \n\n \nMinimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
\n \nTechnical/Vocational Schoo
\n \nGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
\n \nBLS Certification (condition of employment)
\n \nCertified or Registered medical assistant certification froman AdventHealth approved certified body
