Schedule: Full Time 40 hours/week; Hours vary between 7a-7p Monday-Friday and occasional Saturday 8a-1p

The role you'll contribute:

\n \n\n \n

Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider (Physician or Advanced Practice Provider).

\n \n\n \n

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
\n \n
• Assists with treatments ordered by the provider under supervision.
\n \n
• Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations.
\n \n
• Performs basic clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
\n \n
• Orders and stocks supplies, ensuring a clean and orderly environment.
\n \n
• Documents provider encounters with patients, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions.
\n \n
• Transcribes patient orders for laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
\n \n
• Provides patient education and explanations of risks and benefits.
\n \n
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to perform procedures and treatments.
\n \n
• Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions and medical procedures.
\n \n
• Ensures compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
\n \n
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

\n \n

The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed :

\n \n\n \n\n

• High School Grad or Equiv Required
\n \n
• Work Experience Preferred
\n \n
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required and
\n \n
• Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) Required or
\n \n
• American Medical Technologists (AMT) Required or
\n \n
• National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Required or
\n \n
• American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) Required or
\n \n
• National Center for Competency Testing-Medical Asst (NCCT) Required
\n \n\n \n\n
