Your Role and Responsibilities

As a CNA your responsibilities will include:

• Daily Care Assistance:  Support with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation, and feeding.


• Comfort Measures:  Provide therapeutic services such as baths, ice packs, or dressings to enhance client comfort.


• Monitoring and Reporting:  Track vital signs, food/fluid intake, and elimination, and communicate changes in condition to healthcare professionals.


• Mobility Support:  Assist clients with movement and repositioning; Hoyer lift use is essential.


• Emotional Support:  Offer companionship and build trust, creating a safe and supportive environment for each client.


• Collaboration:  Partner with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, individualized care.


• Environmental Maintenance:  Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe setting for clients.

Requirements and Skills

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

• High school diploma or GED


• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification


• Current CPR/BLS certification


• Minimum of 6 months of CNA or Caregiver experience preferred


• Basic computer skills


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Professional, calm demeanor in high-pressure or fast-paced settings


• Reliability, punctuality, and a client-centered attitude
