Certified Scrum Master Our client is seeking a Scrum Master for a full-time, direct hire position with a full benefits package to include fully paid medical insurance for the employee, 401k with match and generous PTO. Our client is an agile consulting firm experiencing significant growth. The recruiting and staffing of this position is being handled by Corps Team on behalf of our client. This role is hybrid with at least three (3) days per week on site in Washington D.C. The salary for this position will start at $110,000 with a possibility of increase based on experience. Major Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the Scrum Master for product development activities by: Serving as our resident expert in Scrum Helping the team become fully functional and productive Enabling close cooperation across all roles and functions and removing impediments Scheduling and facilitating Scrum activities Enforcing values and principles of Scrum Serve as expert and administrator for our Agile planning tools Support project management efforts where needed Required Qualifications Education and Work Experience BS in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline 5+ years of related work experience 4+ years of Scrum Master experience with an active CSM or CSPO Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Strong experience leading release and sprint planning Demonstrated ability to train and overcome obstacles Experience leading and encouraging self-directed teams Experience leading scrum of scrums Demonstrated history of active participation in scrum and agile industry events, trainings, etc. Strong technical skills are a must proficiency with the Microsoft Office, as well as collaboration tools like Jira, Zoom, etc. Proven ability to establish strong relationships across multiple teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be a team player, able to handle ambiguity, anticipate and react to changes quickly (flexible with hours and duties) Other Requirements U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to government contracts. Ability to work on site in Washington, D.C. at least 3 days per week. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
