About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO) to lead the development and execution of human capital strategy in alignment with the organization's mission and values. The CPO will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, talent management, change management, performance management, training and development, compensation, and succession planning. Applicants for the CPO position at the company should possess a strong background in HR, with a focus on JEDI issues, and at least 7-10 years of supervisory and leadership experience. The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and change management skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, particularly in a unionized environment. A Master's degree in HR or a related field is preferred, along with SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic recruiting, retention, and training, and be adept at managing the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent.
