About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Risk Officer to play a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be a key partner to executive management, driving and influencing the achievement of business objectives while ensuring a robust risk management framework. This includes the establishment of an effective Enterprise Risk Management strategy, culture, and framework, as well as the implementation of processes and systems to manage and monitor various enterprise risks. The Chief Risk Officer will also be responsible for advising on risk issues, influencing strategic direction, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities for the Chief Risk Officer at the company include overseeing the identification, monitoring, and mitigation of all enterprise risks, such as market, liquidity, operational, information security, and reputational risks. The role involves leading the development of a cohesive risk MIS and data governance model, supervising risk-related activities, and representing the company in industry and related events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, with the ability to credibly challenge and advise on risk matters, and will be adept at managing risk-related projects. Administrative supervision of risk management teams and a focus on risk mitigation for existing and new products and transactions are also integral to the position.
