Whitney ISD is seeking a passionate and qualified choir director to take over our high school and junior high choir program. This position offers an excellent opportunity to continue the growth and success this program has recently experienced, while working alongside our fantastic fine arts faculty and supportive administration. Whitney has two high school choirs (SA and TB) and three junior high choirs (6th Mixed, 7th-8th SA, and 7th-8th TB), and there is potential for a Varsity Mixed ensemble at the high school level very soon. Lastly, Whitney ISD will be moving to a four day week next year, offering you extended weekends and a full day of prep and planning time every other week.
