Position Overview:
The Clinical Medical Assistant will play a key role in ensuring our clinic operates smoothly, providing both administrative and clinical support to our providers. You’ll help create a welcoming environment for patients while ensuring efficient, accurate, and high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a comfortable and professional experience
Perform routine clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and assisting providers during exams and procedures
Handle administrative duties promptly, including patient scheduling, chart updates, and documentation
Communicate with insurance companies to verify benefits, process authorizations, and ensure accurate billing procedures
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with clinic policies and medical standards
Assist with managing medical supplies, equipment, and inventory
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in healthcare administration (primary care, specialty, or medspa experience preferred)
Familiarity with medical billing procedures and electronic health records (EHR)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients and team members
Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred but not required
