Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Project Manager to oversee and manage refrigeration projects from inception to completion. The Refrigeration Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing resources, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This role requires a strong background in refrigeration systems, project management, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Work side by side with senior project manager to evaluate and develop project scope of work based on a variety of documents provided: Bid/Construction Drawings, Customer Scope Documents, Project Specifications, Site Photos, On-Site Meetings and Verification.

· Establish project objectives, scope parameters, and communicate overall project details with subcontractors, vendors, architectural and engineering consultants and customer.

· Review plans to identify types of subcontractors required to facilitate the work.

· Review plans, and provide take-offs for equipment, material, etc…

· Prepare scope of work documents to effectively communicate project details (big picture and specific details) to construction team (subcontractors, vendors, customer, etc…).

· Prepare overall bids consisting of multiple subcontractors, vendors, management, etc…

· Review subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure inclusive of required project details.

· Cost Analysis: Using project data for cost comparisons to analyze accuracy of bids.

· Value Engineering: Analyze scope of project to provide optimal or alternate solutions to reduce cost, work within budgets, etc…

· Communicate scope-related questions (RFIs) to architect, engineers, customer, to qualify scopes for bidding purposes.

· Prepare project schedules for bidding, and project management purposes.

· Document project details through company’s project management software (status, dates, change orders, permits, equipment, etc…).

· Review purchase orders and contracts prior to start of project.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

·3-5 years of Construction or Refrigeration project management experience required

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Team Oriented: Ability to effectively collaborate with others.

· Strong math skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excell and Project

· Ability to work as a member of a team, while being self-motivated.

· Strong work ethic, dependable, highly motivated
