Please apply today and grow with us: [email protected] Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commodity Trade Assistant to support our trading team in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of commodity transactions. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in commodity markets, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are willing to train enthusiastic candidates. Key Responsibilities Trade Execution Support: Assist traders in executing and processing commodity trades, ensuring timely and accurate entry into trading systems. Trade Reconciliation: Monitor and reconcile trade discrepancies, ensuring all trades are accurately reflected in internal systems and align with broker statements. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and provide traders with relevant information to inform trading decisions. Documentation Management: Ensure all trade documentation, including confirmations and contracts, are accurately maintained and compliant with regulatory requirements. Reporting: Generate and distribute daily and weekly reports on trading activities, positions, and performance metrics. Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on trade status. Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics helpful but not required. Experience : 0–3 years of experience in commodity trading, operations support, or a related role. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with trading platforms and systems is a plus. Analytical Skills : Strong numerical and analytical abilities to interpret market data and trading information. Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams and clients. Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Adaptability : Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing market conditions. Compensation Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 with potential for commission - depending upon experience.
