Company Maintenance Manager - North Dakota Sand Processing Facilities

We are a young and rapidly-growing sand processing company located in rural North Dakota looking for

the right person to add to our leadership team. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit to work in an early-stage company as it deals with rapid expansion, and the technical and management skills maintain a multi-site sand processing operation running 24/7. Asgard Sand currently has two operating mines, with a third opening soon.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Oversee the maintenance program over two mines, with a third opening later this year
• Hire and train maintenance staff
• Plan and establish preventive maintenance duties and schedules for the operations team
• Create and manage a parts inventory
• Sense of urgency in leading and managing repairs
• Participate in mine planning and equipment evaluations
• Must have the ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in supervising subordinates. These tasks include but are not limited to: interviewing, delegating responsibilities and tasks, performance evaluations, counseling, and disciplining.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sand processing equipment, including washing, drying, conveyers, yellow iron, loading, and scaling
• 5+ years experience in maintenance in a frac sand mining or aggregate industry
• Knowledge of MSHA requirements
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, with HeavyJob experience preferred
