You will be part of a dynamic, focused team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams responsible for configuration control during product development phase. The team has been recognized by the Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.

In this role you will:

• Experience performing Configuration Management (CM) for the development, acquisition, and lifecycle of DoD Program of Record (PoR) systems
• Demonstrated experience in one of more of the following configuration management disciplines:
• Thorough understanding of the Configuration Control Board (CCB) process
• Demonstrated experience with automated CM solutions
• Experience reading and provide feedback on system drawings and schematics from a configuration perspective
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Review design release documents for completeness, proper approvals and system updates, to ensure correct configuration modifications.
• Review contracts and drafts configuration plans to encompass all specification requirements.
• Assist in the maintenance of the data base.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, or a related field
• Be proficient in MS Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Experience in consulting directly with senior military customers.
• Ability to lead/manage small teams to accomplish a task
• A Active Secret Clearance
• 6 years Configuration Management experience.
• Ability to travel OCONUS and up to 10%
