Job Description

Project Billing Specialist Reporting to CFO, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will perform various receivable related tasks with general direction and guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess an ability to follow procedure and problem solve within a fast paced environment.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES · Review contract provisions to determine billing criteria · Compile, format, process, and transmit billings to general contractors as required by contract· Ensure clients receive, accept, and process billings for payment · Obtain lien waivers from subcontractors and vendors · Process lien waivers requested by clients · Assist the CFO in reviewing A/R aging report and collecting on past due accounts · Work with Project Managers and clients to resolve billing and payment issues

Qualifications and Technical Knowledge · Minimum of one year of accounts receivable and collection experience in a construction environment · Familiar with Iowa Lien Process and AIA Billing Forms· Knowledge of Textura, Procore, and Submittal Exchange is highly desirable· Computer savvy with intermediate excel and other MS Office software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
