Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Wholesale Sales Counter and Warehouse Associate to join our team in Torrance. This dual-role position involves assisting customers at our sales counter and handling warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service at the sales counter, assisting customers with orders, product inquiries, and recommendations.
• Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain product knowledge of flooring and related supplies to offer the best solutions to customers.
• Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and organizing products in the warehouse.
• Pick and pack orders for shipping or customer pick-up.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move products as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and sales area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a wholesale or retail environment.
• Knowledge of flooring products or building materials is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for processing orders and inventory management.
• Ability to lift and move heavy products (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus.
