About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team at Delta Steel: Cedar Hill. As a leader in the steel industry, we are looking for a motivated individual to help us continue our success in providing high-quality products to our customers.
We are open positions for 2nd shift, 2pm -10pm, Monday - Friday and for 3rd shift, 10pm - 6am, Monday - Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads
• Inspect crane for safety and maintenance issues
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy
• Communicate with team members to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines
• Log and tag inventory received according to specified procedure
• Keep accurate records of crane operations
• Demonstrate initiative to proactively seek out work and complete tasks
• Dependable and consistent attendance / punctuality
• May need to work weekends as assigned, depending on business needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a crane operator
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
• Good communication and teamwork skills
