In this role, you will: Communicate regularly with clients, prosecutors, judges, and other parties involved in the legal process. Represent clients in court, arguing their case and advocating for their rights and interests. Negotiate plea bargains and other agreements to secure favorable outcomes for your clients. Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support your clients' defense. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to build a strong defense strategy for your clients. To be successful in this role, you should have: A Juris Doctorate degree and a valid license to practice law in New York State Proven experience as a criminal attorney, with a track record of delivering positive outcomes for clients. Excellent legal research and analytical skills Strong communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in court. The ability to work collaboratively with clients, teammates and the District Attorney’s Offices. A commitment to upholding ethical guidelines and standards in your practice.
