Qualifications and responsibilities for this Diesel/Auto Mechanic position include:- 3+ years of experience in diesel and automotive maintenance and repair.- Valid driver’s license required; ASE Certification is a plus.- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles.- Experience with preventive maintenance for fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, or large diesel machinery.- Perform engine, transmission, braking system, and lighting repairs.- Conduct diagnostic tests and determine necessary repairs.- Maintain detailed service records and follow safety inspection checklists.- Ensure a clean, organized work environment in the shop.Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
