Job Summary:

Krucial Rapid Response is a non-profit corporation that is rapidly preparing, mobilizing, and deploying medical personnel and critical resources to communities across the United States. Our primary purpose is to provide critical support in the form of personnel and other assistance to under-resourced communities facing emergency situations.

The Director of Business Development is responsible for having an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our market and the Healthcare Staffing industry, while helping us fulfill our mission as a nonprofit organization. This position will lead the overall strategy for our Healthcare client relations, identification of new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong partnerships with existing and new clients, and expanding the organizations market reach. This position must also work collaboratively with our VP of Emergency Operations and team for potential client relations and market growth among the Emergency Response side of our business, and our Director of Staffing and team to ensure client retention and service levels are strong.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop effective Account Management and Consultant (Sales) teams

• Work with CEO or President and our Senior Leadership Team to set market strategy and goals for the organization

• Ensure Business Development operations are efficient and executed timely, so we continue to develop and strengthen client relations for our mission and growth (service levels)

• Drive our overall nonprofit mission in the community and identify ways to continuously serve our industry and clients

• Keep abreast of trends in the industry and perform continuous market research to anticipate customer needs, industry influencers, and competitive dynamics

• Work in collaboration with our Emergency Response and Recruitment/Staffing teams to meet overall organizational goals

• Meet overall budgetary responsibility for Strategic Development operations

• Coach, mentor, and develop employees within his/her organizational structure

• Partner with Communications/Marketing team to ensure our Branding supports our mission and business operations

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 8 Years minimum senior level related experience in sales or business development role(s)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business-related field required

• Healthcare industry knowledge or exposure helpful

• Experience working in the non-profit industry preferred

• Management level experience supervising/leading cross-functional teams

• Ability to create a scalable growth plan for driving sales/revenue (business development)

• Experience working with Communication/Marketing teams to help drive Brand awareness for our mission and financial goals

• Systems experience or aptitude to learn quickly (CRM, project management software, Microsoft software programs, social media, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)

• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to understand client needs

*The position may be eligible for an incentive compensation plan in addition to an annual base salary.
