The Director of Global Real Estate is a key leadership role within the Global Real Estate and Retail Franchise (GRE&RF) organization. Reporting directly to the VP, Global Real Estate and Retail Franchise, this role is instrumental in shaping and executing the global real estate strategy across Levi’s, Dockers, and Beyond Yoga. You will drive strategic planning, execution of 800+ annual real estate and franchise projects, process optimization, governance, and tool development to support regional real estate teams worldwide. 5-10% Travel.

About the Job

Global Real Estate Strategy

  • Partner with the VP, GRE&RF to define and execute a best-in-class real estate strategy for a fleet of 3,000+ stores globally.

  • Align real estate strategy with company-wide strategic business plans (SBP) and support execution at the cluster level.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders across global and cluster-specific initiatives.

Execution & Portfolio Management

  • Lead the translation of global strategy into actionable plans across clusters

  • Drive Global Real Estate Council (GREC) and Global investment board (~60 projects per month)

  • Analyze most important global real estate projects proposed and provide recommendation on approval, challenge cluster teams assumptions where needed

  • Manage major deals through the monthly GREC process

  • Orchestrate the Global Investment Decision Board (GIBD) sequencing, materials and agenda

Investment Governance & Process Optimization

  • Define and refine Global Real Estate processes across all brands and operating models (O&O, franchise, commissionaire, concessions)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define approval thresholds and improve global workflows.

  • Monitor fleet performance and recommend actions to optimize productivity.

Fleet Review & Performance Analysis

  • Lead bi-annual fleet performance reviews in collaboration with Finance.

  • Develop and present insights to LS&Co’s executive committee and board of directors.

  • Ensure alignment between commercial real estate strategy and board-level objectives.

    Tools & Capabilities Development

  • Build and launch market mapping capabilities across all clusters

  • Move LS&Co from a channel planning lens to a local/key city planning lens

  • Improve upon the existing PER to make it simpler and easier to use

  • Build digital selling tools for local teams to use with landlords

  • Upgrade strategies to increase partner retail

Local Market Support & Best Practices

  • Partner with key markets to strengthen real estate strategies at the local and key city level.

  • Provide tools, training, and guidance to ensure team success across all regions.

  • Define and distribute best practices through a global real estate/franchise playbook.

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing through bi-annual global meetings and quarterly follow-ups.

  • Lead global real estate and franchise projects to ensure consistent execution and impact across clusters.

About You

  • 7+ years of experience withinCommercial Real Estate management or consulting experience.

  • Experience engaging with multiple management levels, from C-suite leaders to individual contributors.

  • Experience taking on complex and detailed analysis and translate that information to a clear insightful presentation

  • Partner with senior executives to lead successful delivery in evolving settings, ensuring smooth adoption of new solutions.

  • Possess a global perspective with a proven ability to scale programs effectively.

  • International experience

This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $170,000 - $230,000 per year . We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
