Job Overview:

Gottstein Corporation Industrial Solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Project Management to oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of all projects within the corporation. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement project management strategies and best practices to support the companys goals and objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Project Planning and Oversight: Oversee all aspects of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation plans to address potential issues before they impact project success.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, progress, and any issues that require attention.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A masters degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of MEP and general construction project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in industrial solutions or a related industry is highly desirable.
  • Travel: Ability to travel nationally to job locations.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.

This is a full-time position that may require additional hours during financial closing periods or audit seasons.
