POSITION SUMMARY:

(THIS IS AN ON-SITE DOCK WORKER POSITION)

Company seeking candidates for the 2nd shift Warehouse Associates

Load and unload freight in a safe, efficient manner to avoid shipping errors that result in customer claims or complaints.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Load and unload trailers
• Perform re-weighs for each shift
• Perform daily freight inspections and inspection of lift truck and other equipment
• Inspects trailers for suitability before loading
• Perform basic housekeeping
• Recoup/palletize/shrink wrap freight as needed
• Perform other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of basic dock procedure
• Forklift experience in dock setting
• Ability to identify, report on recurring problems/safety issues
• 1-2 years of forklift experience
• Forklift certification is wanted but not required

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years forklift experience
• HS Diploma
