GoldenTech is seeking a skilled Domain Services System Administrator to support a critical mission with our Department of Defense client at Hill Air Force Base. This role requires more than general Active Directory experience — we are looking for candidates who have experience configuring and managing entire domain environments, including infrastructure, replication, security policies, and disaster recovery. The selected candidate must hold an active Top Secret clearance and bring deep technical experience in managing enterprise domain services in a secure DoD environment. Key Responsibilities:
Deploy and manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and domain controllers
Configure and manage FSMO roles, forest/domain trusts, and replication topology
Design and implement OU structures, group policy objects (GPOs), and permission models
Apply and enforce naming conventions and domain-wide security policies
Perform delegation of control, group management, and administrative privilege assignments
Troubleshoot domain-level faults, replication issues, and infrastructure errors
Develop and implement domain disaster recovery strategies
Ensure compliance with DoD standards, including DISA STIGs, IAVM bulletins, and IA guidelines
Create and maintain detailed documentation and SOPs
Provide training and cross-department support where necessary
Assist with root cause analysis and support planning of infrastructure improvements Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting domain services within a classified DoD environment
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation for AD and GPO management
CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570-compliant certification (IAT Level II)
