A Day in the Life of a ( Electrical Control Technician) :
We are hiring for an Electrical Control Technician to help support the facility that produces our delicious Tennessee Pride, Celeste Pizza & Sandwich Bros products at our Jackson, TN manufacturing facility. You will report to a Maintenance Manager and join a team of about 60. This is a night position with 12 hour shifts.
Maintains the correct operation of all the production lines including all safety and electrical services.
Modify PLC Code and HMI programs to maintain production.
Perform firmware upgrades to PLC's and HMI's.
Develop and/or modify HMI applications using FactoryTalk ME/SE and Wonderware.
Configure Network devices such has managed switches.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Assists employees in the training of equipment safety and operating methods to maximize efficiencies.
Perform electrical maintenance, adjustments, and preventive maintenance of equipment to improve its operation and reliability.
Perform all work conforming to Conagra Foods, OSHA and NEC codes.
Communication with maintenance leadership via email as well as proficiency with SAP computerized maintenance system.
Minimum of two years as an Electrical or Controls Technician with proven ability to maintain production equipment and facility utilities.
Associates Degree or a minimum of two years from a vocational/technical institution. Applicable trade certification and/or relevant experience beyond the minimum requirement for this position are an acceptable substitute for the educational requirement.
The employee must have experience with and the ability to understand automation controls, coordination of those controls, interlocking of those controls, and relay logic.
X-ray and Mechanical packaging machine experience is desired.
