Shift: This role is 3rd Shift, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $37.67 an hour + $1.00 shift differential

A Day in the Life of a ( Electrical Control Technician) :

We are hiring for an Electrical Control Technician to help support the facility that produces our delicious Tennessee Pride, Celeste Pizza & Sandwich Bros products at our Jackson, TN manufacturing facility. You will report to a Maintenance Manager and join a team of about 60. This is a night position with 12 hour shifts.

You Will:

• Maintains the correct operation of all the production lines including all safety and electrical services.

• Modify PLC Code and HMI programs to maintain production.

• Perform firmware upgrades to PLC's and HMI's.

• Develop and/or modify HMI applications using FactoryTalk ME/SE and Wonderware.

• Configure Network devices such has managed switches.

• Ability to read electrical schematics.

• Assists employees in the training of equipment safety and operating methods to maximize efficiencies.

• Perform electrical maintenance, adjustments, and preventive maintenance of equipment to improve its operation and reliability.

• Perform all work conforming to Conagra Foods, OSHA and NEC codes.

• Communication with maintenance leadership via email as well as proficiency with SAP computerized maintenance system.

You Have:

• Minimum of two years as an Electrical or Controls Technician with proven ability to maintain production equipment and facility utilities.

• Associates Degree or a minimum of two years from a vocational/technical institution. Applicable trade certification and/or relevant experience beyond the minimum requirement for this position are an acceptable substitute for the educational requirement.

• The employee must have experience with and the ability to understand automation controls, coordination of those controls, interlocking of those controls, and relay logic.

• X-ray and Mechanical packaging machine experience is desired.
