Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Longs Peak Hospital, US:CO:Longmont Department: LPH Facilities Support Operati FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $31.61 - $47.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary: Installs, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical circuits, appliances, systems, facilities, and related electrical controls and devices. Responsibilities: Installs disconnects, lights, devices, and electrical panels. Installs motors, motor control circuits, electrical systems in hazardous locations, and transformers. Installs battery banks, battery charges, and switch gear. Installs intrusion alarm systems and grounding systems in general facilities. Performs periodic operations, maintenance, and supervision of generators and switch gear relays, and control switches. Troubleshoots switch gear circuits, voltage regulators, and control switches. Replaces circuit components including instruments meter, voltage regulators, surge protectors, relays, and control switches. Troubleshoots motors and motor control circuit across the line starters, reduce voltage starters (auto transformer, resister), reversing starters, and electrical systems in hazardous locations, battery banks, and battery chargers. Plans, estimates, and commissions new installations or renovations of electrical systems or equipment. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements: + Journeyman Electrician + Master Electrician + High School diploma or GED. + State licensure as Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician. + 3 years direct experience.
