Electro-Optical Systems Technician

Conduct thorough inspections of opto-mechanical components using microscopes and other precision instruments.

Ensure all inspections are performed in accordance with clean room protocols and safety guidelines.

Verify dimensions, alignment, and other specifications against engineering drawings and standards.

Document inspection results, including any defects or deviations from specifications.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Perform routine maintenance and calibration of inspection equipment.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with clean room standards.

Primary responsibility is support of new product introduction. Tasks include managing entire production flow, work order data entry, stock area maintenance, laboratory up-keep, and managing internal cleaning line. Candidate must have the ability to follow, maintain, and assist in documenting operational processes, and must be capable of learning quickly on a variety of tasks. Prompt entry of data in databases and log files and ability to report information from same. Daily communication with Manufacturing team and Product Development team is required to ensure a smooth transition of new designs to volume production.

Duties: Experience, Knowledge and Skills: * Ability to handle small, sensitive and high value components with care. * Experience handling and cleaning Optics. * Strong written and communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to follow transactional procedures. * Ability to focus on task at hand and maintain accuracy and quality of work. * Driven to improve the efficiency of processes and the adherence to those processes & procedures. * Desire to learn, grow and succeed. * Some travel required

* Associates Degree, preferred. * Organized, energetic, reliable, timely, detail oriented. * Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. * Team oriented thinker. * Ability and desire to handle work of diverse scope and complexity. * Ability to support the team across a wide range tasks.
