Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Communications Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of communications while supporting various initiatives that enhance our brand visibility and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and editing of communications materials including press releases, newsletters, and blog posts.
  • Manage and update content on social media platforms, ensuring our messaging is consistent and engaging.
  • Support the planning and execution of events, campaigns, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Conduct research to gather data and insights that inform communication strategies and decisions.
  • Help coordinate media relations efforts, including drafting pitches and tracking coverage.
  • Assist with internal communications by creating updates and maintaining communication channels within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools and software is a plus.
