Position Summary
The Production Assistant is an entry-level position in our production department. This person is responsible for handling garments as they come off the dryer at the end of the printing press, preparing them for additional decoration, quality control, or final packing. The role also floats between other tasks in the shop, making it an excellent training ground for anyone interested in building a career in screen printing and apparel production.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove garments from the dryer belt and stack them neatly for the next step (additional imprint, embroidery, heat press, or shipping).
• Perform visual quality checks on garments to ensure prints meet company standards.
• Assist press operators with press breakdowns, setups, and cleanup.
• Support heat press operations, applying transfers and finishing garments as needed.
• Learn basic embroidery tasks, including hooping, trimming, and finishing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Cross-train in various parts of the production process to support the team where needed.
