Our client, a leader in the Manufacturing sector, is seeking an Environmental Monitoring Technician to join their team at Indianapolis, IN. As an Environmental Monitoring Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting critical operations.

Job Title: Environmental Monitoring Technician (Entry Level)

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Hours: 10am/12pm start time - 8 hours a day

Shifts: Day and Night shifts are available

Duration: 12+ Months contract with Temp to Perm Potential

What's the Job?

• Conduct environmental monitoring of the aseptic area during production fills or weekly monitoring.
• Perform water collection and testing of WFI, Clean Steam, and Deionized Water.
• Execute media fill qualification and release in support of the environmental monitoring program.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the microbiology laboratory area, including refrigerators and incubators.
• Handle hazardous wastes and attend mandatory annual hazardous waste training meetings.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma required; an Associate's degree or related certification in Microbiological Sciences is highly preferred.
• Experience with aseptic technique and/or working in aseptic environments.
• Ability to gown aseptically for Manufacturing and Aseptic Filling areas.
• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate production needs.
• Sufficient mobility to work in manufacturing processing areas.
