About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director of Regulatory Affairs to provide strategic leadership and direction for global regulatory activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing regulatory strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring successful regulatory outcomes for both development-stage programs and post-approval initiatives. This role involves leading the development and submission of various regulatory applications, providing guidance to project teams in interactions with health authorities, and staying abreast of changes in the regulatory environment. The Executive Director will also be tasked with overseeing a team of regulatory professionals, providing expert advice on regulatory issues, and actively participating in health authority inspections. Applicants for the Executive Director of Regulatory Affairs position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, with a Master’s or other advanced degree preferred, and at least 12 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 10 years in direct regulatory affairs within the biotech or biopharmaceutical industry. The role requires a proven track record in the successful prosecution of various regulatory applications and experience in managing interactions with global regulatory agencies. Strong strategic, operational, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to lead and manage teams effectively. The ideal candidate will have a sense of urgency, perseverance, and the ability to work collaboratively across a matrix organization.
