Experienced Parts Counter Representative

Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is looking for an experienced Parts Counter Representative to join our fast-growing team. The Parts Counter Representative is responsible for the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse goods and is responsible for customer service and retail sales in the Parts Department. This individual must be precise, prioritizing, and team-oriented while having the capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job functions include but not limited to:

• Assists all customers (retail and body shop) in selecting parts for their automotive needs. The Parts Counter Representative informs customers of companion parts requirements and ensures that the full product line is available.
• Answers calls providing price quotes and other pertinent information. The Parts Counter Representative follows up on back-ordered components.
• Reviews Body Shop estimates to ensure the correct parts are delivered and pricing is consistent with the estimate. The Parts Counter Representative takes orders for delivery to a body shop, ensuring that all parts are tagged with customer names and job number.
• Provides parts orders from numerous departments and verifies the accuracy of the order against the invoice. The Parts Counter Representative provides high quality service to internal and external customers.
• Recognizes the flow of incoming and outgoing materials to meet productivity objectives and ensures the steady flow of materials in the supply chain.

Employee Prerequisites:

• Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
• Stands, walks, or sits for a long period without resting. (Up to 5 hours) Must have the capability to leave up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Basic math strategies include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Prior parts training or experience is preferred. Pay based on experience.
