Description: Job Description: Develops, plans, and conducts external communications initiatives and a corporate social responsibility program to improve and support company business objectives with the public, industry, stakeholders, stockholders, media, and/or employees. Plans, prepares, writes, and disseminates information utilizing print and broadcast media, magazines, speeches, scripts, intranet, and Internet website. Crafts speeches and develops messaging.

Manages Marietta social impact and community engagement.

Grow and strengthen a volunteer force for community events

Develop a speaker's bureau and relationships with Atlanta-based and regional media

Manages social impact planning, schedule, and budget.

Conducts PIRA (security) reviews, reviews photos/imagery for release

Coordinates with Visual Communications on presentation updates

Represents the organization at civic outreach, media events, and provides, assistance in all facets of communication as assigned.

Serves on trade and air show committees, as assigned.

Works a C-130J country account, as assigned, and as workload permits.

Crafts and coordinates media responses.

Collaborates across the business areas and lines of business.

Employee communications, as assigned.

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills

Capable of developing and implementing strategic and tactical-level communications plans

Event planning, organizing and execution

Employee communications, media relations and marketing experience

Partners with Aero and EO Communications-like functions.

Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Able to manage large budgets

Excellent time management skills

Ability to advise senior executives and function as part of a team

Diplomacy

Basic Qualifications:

- Event planning, organizing and execution with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
